I built EZEOB from lived experience in healthcare

—not just billing, but patient care.

After more than a decade running a medical billing company, I saw the same problem over and over again: small healthcare businesses were stuck doing manual, time-consuming work simply because the tools available to them were built for hospital systems—or priced completely out of reach. Billing teams and practice owners were spending valuable time on data entry instead of patient care, operations, or growth.

I’ve spent over 25 years in healthcare, first as a provider and later as the owner of a medical billing company serving small, independent practices. That dual perspective shaped everything about this platform. I understand the clinical side, the business side, and the very real tension between the two—because I’ve lived it.

Why EZEOB Exists

This platform reflects real-world billing workflows—clearinghouse variability, EHR limitations, payer inconsistencies, and the reality of running lean teams. It integrates with Claim.MD, produces files compatible with other systems that accept the format, and is built to expand as industry requirements continue to evolve.

I built EZEOB because I know my clients. I know their constraints, their responsibilities, and the pressure they’re under to do more with less. Most importantly, I believe small healthcare businesses deserve tools that are built with the same care, intention, and accountability that they bring to their own work.
